Nazareth Golf Outing & Fundraiser – A Smashing Success!

Date: September 15, 2025

Nazareth scored a Hole in One on this beautiful day at Marine Park in Brooklyn when 110 golfers and 8 buffet guests gathered to play some golf, share times with old friends, and honor Donald P. Kennelly (father of Kevin Kennelly ’76 and Jim Kennelly ’79) and Gerard H. Fitzgerald (father of Gerard P. Fitzgerald ’84).  Our special guests, students from Nazareth, spent part of the day helping on the golf course and joined in the post golf festivities.   This helped make the day even more memorable.

Thanks to the generosity and efforts of golfers/guests, hole sponsors, donors, prize and auction donors, as well as the support of many family members of the honored guests and event team (who worked hard to create an outstanding experience for the day), $30,463 was raisedfor Nazareth!   An event that will go down as one of the best for the alumni and school community.   The Nazareth Golf Committee (Gerry Ferrante ’73, Joe Keenan ’73 and Denis Wuestman ’73) thank you!

This money raised will go towards the Spirit of Nazareth fund in support of specific scholarships, arts/education, athletics, and financial aid.
