To sign into your Chromebook:

Username

All usernames will be the Nazareth school-assigned Gmail address, which is as follows:

First initial + last name + period + Nazareth graduation year @nazarethrhs.org

If your name was Bob Smith and you are graduating in 2024 your username would be…

Bsmith.2024@nazarethrhs.org

Since Bob Smith is graduating in 2024 his password would be…

Nazareth@2024

To sign into your Gmail account:

Go to gmail.com and click the sign in button to begin. Your username and password will be the same as the ones above to sign in to your chromebook.

After your initial log in, please remember to change your password to something private that you will remember.

To access your classes:

Your teachers will be sending you classroom codes via email. Check your Gmail to receive your codes.

While in your Gmail account, click the Google Apps button on the top right (3×3 dots) and scroll down to find Google Classroom. Open the app. Click the plus button (+) at the top right corner and input your classroom code to gain access to your online classes. Do this for each of your classes.

After inputting all your classroom codes, you should see all of your classes listed for the 2020-2021 school year. Refer to your school schedule which had been emailed to you, and find the class you are scheduled to be in. Click into the class where you may find assignments, posts from your teachers, and a link to enter your online class. The link may either be a Zoom link or a Google Meets link. Click this link and wait for your teacher to allow you into the class.

To access non-class assemblies:

Once in your Gmail account, look in your email for announcements about any school assemblies or meetings. Inside the email there will be a time for the assembly and a link to the Zoom meeting or Google Meet. Click the link and await to be let into the assembly. Assembly

Once in, find the buttons at the bottom of the screen, primarily a microphone and a video camera. Click the video camera button to turn your camera on so you can be seen. If your camera is not on you may not be included in the attendance.

Please feel free to leave your microphone off (on mute) unless you are trying to speak. In large groups when microphones are left on the background noise can make it difficult to hear.
