Nazareth Summer Technology & Education Program (S.T.E.P.)
STEP at Nazareth is designed to prepare our incoming freshmen for the academic demands as well as the physical and social aspects of starting High School. Nazareth’s mission is to educate the “whole” child. Students who complete STEP will receive the skills needed to succeed academically, gain an introduction to our state-of-the-art technology program, and experience a renewed focus on their health and wellness as they prepare for the 9th grade.

Success in High School depends on many factors. This program will focus on good study habits, time management, ability to set and attain goals, effective note taking, completion of assignments, review of daily notes, organization skills, test taking skills and increasing students’ reading comprehension skills.
Students will experience Technology the Nazareth way. The NAZ LAB has top of the line 3D Virtual Reality Computers, touch screen in-focus boards, Vex Robots, Drones and 3D printers. Students will have an opportunity to explore and become acquainted with the various technology tools.
Students will be reintegrated into a classroom setting. This program will focus on simple exercises and social interpersonal relationships. Students will be prepared physically and emotionally for the upcoming school year.
Safety Protocols
As always, the safety of all our students is our top priority. Nazareth will follow all COVID-19 safety protocols per the CDC and the DOH. All students must wear masks during class and complete a daily wellness screening, as will all our faculty and staff.

The total program costs $250.
