Nazareth Remembers Coach Jarrod Sockwell, Class of 1999

Nazareth Regional High School is sad to announce the untimely passing of Jarrod Sockwell, Class of 1999. Jarrod was a standout football player for Nazareth under Coach DeSimone and returned to his alma mater as an assistant coach for the past four seasons. He had a big heart and was a tremendous impact on our football team, coaches, staff, students and school community.

He completed his undergraduate degree at Livingstone College and received his Master’s Degree in Sports Administration from Fairleigh Dickinson University. He was also a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity.

Please join us in our prayers for the repose of his soul, and for the consolation to all his classmates, our current students and most importantly his family and friends as they go through this difficult time. He will be sorely missed by his Nazareth family. May he rest in the peace of Christ, the Risen Lord.

St. John 14:1-6
Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you.
I go to prepare a place for you.
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself;
That where I am, there ye may be also.
Thomas saith until him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest;
and how can we know the way? Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life:
no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. @ Nazareth Regional High School
